Bear Branch Solar

Construction of the 35 MW Bear Branch Solar project is expected to begin in the second half of 2024 with targeted commercial operations expected in the second half of 2026. The project is located in Stokes County, North Carolina. Once complete, Capital Power will operate Hornet Solar under a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement with Duke Energy Carolinas.
