EDMONTON, Alberta – October 29, 2009 – Capital Power Corporation (TSX: CPX) will be hosting its first annual Investor Day event on Thursday, December 3, 2009. The event will be held at the TMX Broadcast Centre located at 130 King Street West in Toronto.

The Investor Day event will include various presentations from the management team. A detailed agenda will be available in late November.
